Lovely textures, I like how the the colours are quite muted apart from the hair and lips of the girl on the right.

Absolutely gorgeous. I love how the piece has a sort of marble look to it; very cool. Great job! :)

Love the way you color the hair band and hair on Nancy Drew.

I actually thought this was for your show yet to come when I first saw it on Instagram. It goes with what you were talking to me about, but I see the Nancy Drew theme once you mentioned it (confession: I never read Nancy Drew. I read one book and I didn't like it!) Maybe if you flipped a few things around....you have an idea for your show? A more literal piece, but it would be a great piece.

I love how it seems the statue seems to be whispering some secret to the girl though. That's what made me originally think of it belonging to your solo show.

Oh yeah, I could see that! I technically can't share any of my finished work for my solo show until it's actually up, so anything I share that's a full finished piece is for something else. :)

I know, I'm just sayin'. That was where my brain was trailing. If you flipped the marble statue for a young girl and the young one for someone representing you...it becomes awfully close to your idea. Change the expressions a bit, maybe make the background a more somber color gradient like a grayed out purple (blue? yellow? I don't know.) That would make a killer piece. It would be more literal, but I think as an artist you need more abstract and more literal pieces in your show.

Beautiful! Little details I love: the way their outlines merge, the cubes in the background texture, the lines of white in the highlighting.
